The "MATLAB path" is the list of all directories that MATLAB looks in for functions and other files. Any function file you want to use in Rave must be in a directory that is on your matlab path.

Changing your MATLAB path

To change the path:

  • Open MATLAB
  • Click "File>>Set Path"
  • Click "Add folder " or "Add with subfolders"
  • Browse to the desired directory and click "Ok'
  • Click "Save" and then "Close".
