Image Gallery

The galleries below show some of RAVE's capabilities. Roll over the thumbnails to view full-size images below.

Note: Most of these images were exported directly from RAVE as screen-resolution bitmaps. On-screen graphics tend to be higher quality because they are rendered with a vector-based renderer. Higher quality export results can be obtained by exporting to high-resolution bitmaps or vector formats.

Discrete Visualization

These graphs use points, glyphs, and bars to show data points. They are called "discrete" because they do not explicitly show the connectivity between data points.

Continuous Visualization

Continuous graphs show "slices" of a function in a plane that passes through a specified point. Depending on whether the graph axes are independent or dependent variables, different graphs are formed, including contour plots, carpet plots, surface plots, and prediction profilers.
